Interesting fact about me
Lover of lazy brunches
Traveling is one of my biggest passions. I believe that the best souvenir from a different place is a local recipe- that way you will always have that place with you. I enjoy learning different languages and I have realized that the best way to learn something about a culture is through its language and its food.

Places I’ve Traveled
I make it a goal to travel every year. One of my favorite cities is Cambodia. I have never tried Khmer food before but it opened my eyes to how good seafood actually is when it is fresh. Now, I consider amok to be one of my favorite spices. Having sushi for breakfast at the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo right after the auctions, buying fresh-squeezed pomegranate juice at Sultanahmet Square in Istanbul, pintxos and a glass of txacoli de Getaria for lunch at San Sebastian...

A Memory of a Home-Cooked Meal
We were staying in Shunko-in Temple at Kyoto The priest recommended a restaurant called Kitchen Raku-raku right by the temple. Little did I know that it wasn't a restaurant but some guy's kitchen! Not only was it my first time eating fugu, it was also my first time having a home-cooked meal outside my own home. It was the best Japanese food I have ever had and better yet, we made a new friend.
