Why I Share Meals
I think meals are a great equalizer. The need to eat is something all humans have across every culture. The differences lie in what, how, and how much we eat. Getting to explore those differences with people eager to open their homes to you is a great way to connect directly with people from another part of the world, gain a whole new perspective, and hopefully leave with some new friends.
Places I’ve Traveled
My travel experiences have been shaped by the people. In my time in different cities across the country, I've met people from all walks of life who have given me many different perspectives. Maybe I'll tell you about some of them over a meal!
A Memory of a Home-Cooked Meal
My mom used to cook this amazing fried chicken in cornmeal batter. I'm salivating just thinking about it now.

It was great to share a meal with Dillon. We had a great time tailgating for a baseball game. Maybe that not traditional, but it worked out great! I would highly recommend hosting him for a meal. He is great company!
